Ven A Mi Mezcal

Ven A Mi Mezcal

Data Ven A Mi Mezcal Joven and Reposado

This Ven A Mi is a Reposado, (a Joven is also available) which translates as 'rested', meaning that it has spent a numberMezcal Ven A Mi Reposado of months in wooden barrels lending the Mezcal an oaky flavour on top of its herbaceous smokiness.

Nose: Relatively soft and slightly floral in character, this is a sophisticated Mezcal for sure. The oak influence combines well with a soft smoke skin to the dying embers of a camping fire. This is not a big-hitting smoky Mezcal at all and it is all the better for it.

Neat: The delightful thing about this Mezcal is that it delivers bagfuls of flavour as would be expected in this spirit, but with a lightness of touch to compete with the finest of any category. Light smoke tickles the palate, whilst plenty of herbal and caramelized notes ensure that this Mezcal will appeal to fans of many other spirit categories. A twist of lemon is apparent in the mid-palate, as is a dash of spiced fruit. This is a very approachable Mezcal but one that retains all the characteristic agave flavours to do the Mezcal Ven A Mi Jovencategory proud.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Warm golden syrup notes with cinnamon tones and swirling charcoal smoke.

Palate: A spicy palate with barbecue baked pears and gentle smoke.

Finish: A warming finish of cinnamon sprinkled whipped cream with a touch of smoke on the tail.

Overall: A really warm and spicy mezcal that goes down extraordinarily easily.

Caution: It's said 'for everything there is Mezcal' but we add 'except for one thing' - getting drunk. Please drink responsibly. The most accurate and dependable book on living life at its fullest says 'wine (or Mezcal) makes the heart rejoice' and 'makes life enjoyable' (Ps 104:15; Ec 10:19) but overindulgence can certainly lead to harm (Pr 23:29-31)! If you drink at all please drink in moderation.
