Mijes Mezcal

Mijes Mezcal

Caballeros inc. Importers of Fine mezcals de Oaxaca
This company calls their mezcals “scorpion mezcals”
They have 14 mezcals total, 2 of which are Mijes Mezcal's listed below.

No other way to put it: Mijes’ (also known as Mixes on some bottles, see below) mezcal bottles are unmistakeably eye-catching, shaped vaguely like a drunken snail or perhaps a brain that’s been run over by a truck.

Mijes Reposado Mezcal
Mijes Reposado Mezcal is 100% Espadin Agave, cooked in a traditional underground conical oven fueled by wood logs. The juice is then extracted via Tahona and horse, and fermented (with fiber) in wooden tanks. Mijes Mezcal Reposado is then double distilled in a small copper alambique, and aged for 6 months in old American oak whiskey barrels.
In the native tribes existing in Oaxaca, the Mijes are considered unique for maintaining a different culture and language. The Mijes use traditional methods and old standards for everyday life and still incorporate magical / religious beliefs.
Mijes is a handcrafted Mezcal from Oaxaca, guaranteed to be 100% natural Mezcal, and produced by traditional methods.

Mijes Jouven Mezcal
Mijes Joven Mezcal is 100% Espadin Agave, cooked in a traditional underground conical oven fueled by wood logs. The juice is then extracted via Tahona and horse, and fermented (with the fiber) in wooden tanks. Mijes Mezcal is then double distilled in a small copper alambique.

Caution: It's said 'for everything there is Mezcal' but we add 'except for one thing' - getting drunk. Please drink responsibly. The most accurate and dependable book on living life at its fullest says 'wine (or Mezcal) makes the heart rejoice' and 'makes life enjoyable' (Ps 104:15; Ec 10:19) but overindulgence can certainly lead to harm (Pr 23:29-31)! If you drink at all please drink in moderation.
